CIO, UBM Electronics
As CIO, Pearson sets and manages the technology roadmap for UBM Electronics and leads all software development within the company. His main focus is to identify and evaluate technology opportunities and then execute those programs which advance UBM Electronics’ strategic IT business objectives.
Based in the San Francisco, CA, Pearson brings 12 years of software engineering and web development expertise and management skills to UBM Electronics. Prior to working at UBM Electronics, he was Director of Technology for Carat, a full service digital media company that provides technology consulting services to Fortune 1000 companies. Prior to this, Pearson was the Director of Development for TradePoint Solutions, a software as a service (SaaS) provider in the consumer packaged goods industry. Pearson also cofounded his own company, Lawdex, focused on creating and sharing legal documentation and communication electronically.
In April 2012, Pearson was named a C-level visionary in the FOLIO: 40 for rebuilding the company’s technology infrastructure into a scalable, single-platform operation.
